This position plays a key role in reviewing, entering, and processing vehicle title and registration applications to support accurate and timely service for the public. As a Clerical Assistant 2, you will perform the following duties:
- Application Review: Examine incoming bureau forms to ensure all required information is present and accurate
- Data Entry: Input customer and vehicle information into designated computer systems to support proper issuance of documents
- Fee Verification: Confirm correct fee waiver codes and document them according to established guidelines
- Work Processing: Complete required daily application totals while maintaining accuracy standards
- Desk Organization: Maintain a well organized workspace that supports efficient workflow and supervisor access to pending tasks
- Reference Use: Apply established examining procedures and reference materials to ensure compliance with standard practices
Full-time employment, 40 hours per week. Work hours are 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday-Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. You will not have the option to telework in this position. Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $39,287 (before taxes). Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Graduation from high school; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
