Requirements
- Generate, manage, coordinate, and execute an overall project schedule. This schedule shall be updated to reflect the current schedule of activities monthly and submitted to senior leadership for review.
- Generate, manage, coordinate, and execute a 3-week look-ahead schedule that nests and relates to the overall project schedule. This schedule shall be maintained on person and readily available for review and analysis as required.
- Schedule Burkentine self-performance activities, subcontractors, consultants, and vendors in the critical path to ensure timely completion.
- Schedule, coordinate, and preside over weekly subcontractor meetings designed to coordinate the work.
- Conduct Daily "Work Huddles" each morning with key Burkentine and subcontractor personnel to coordinate and communicate work expectations for the day.
- Perform quality control duties and responsibilities regarding the work being performed.
- Communicate with the project team regarding ASI's, RFI's, and Material Submittals.
- Have a working knowledge and understanding of the subcontracted scope of work and ensure the subcontractors are fully executing and complying with their contracted scope of work.
- Coordinate and participate in required inspections with local jurisdictions.
- Identify subcontractor non-compliance with safety, health, and environmental quality standards.
- Identify conflicts in construction progress and communicate them to the project team for resolution.
- Maintain daily log (written) of activities on the job site.
- Ensure the subcontractor has corrected all deficiencies identified by the project team.
- Walk all units on the project daily to monitor activities and assist in future planning.
- High School Diploma or equivalency is preferred.
- 3+ years of verifiable experience as a Superintendent with a thorough knowledge of the trades;
Experience in tract housing and multifamily production is preferred. - Basic Computer skills
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
