Mechanical Construction Sr. Project Manager
Full-Time | Nationwide Travel Required
I'm partnered with a well-established mechanical contractor that is actively seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale commercial and industrial mechanical construction projects across multiple regions.
This is a high-level project leadership role for someone who has successfully delivered complex mechanical scopes and is experienced managing large projects, field teams, subcontractors, and client relationships from preconstruction through closeout.
About the RoleThe Sr. Project Manager will oversee all aspects of mechanical project execution, including budgeting, scheduling, manpower coordination, procurement, and overall project performance across HVAC, piping, and plumbing scopes.
This individual will work closely with operations leadership, field teams, VDC, and preconstruction to ensure successful delivery of technically complex projects while maintaining strong financial performance and client satisfaction.
Project locations are primarily concentrated throughout the Midwest, Mountain West, Southwest, Central South, and Southeast regions.

- Lead large-scale mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Manage project schedules, budgets, forecasting, and cost control
- Oversee HVAC, piping, and plumbing scopes across complex commercial and industrial projects
- Coordinate with field leadership, subcontractors, owners, and general contractors
- Drive project execution, planning, and operational performance
- Identify and resolve project risks, delays, and coordination challenges
- Support procurement, buyout, and manpower planning efforts
- Mentor Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and project support staff as needed
- Maintain strong client relationships and support repeat business opportunities
- 7+ years of experience in mechanical construction project management
- Strong background in HVAC, piping, and plumbing systems
- Experience managing large-scale mechanical projects with budgets of $20M+
- Proven success delivering complex commercial or industrial projects
- Strong understanding of project scheduling, financial management, and field coordination
- Experience managing multiple stakeholders across fast-paced project environments
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel nationally for project assignments
