SUMMARY:
The Harrisburg City School District is expanding on the opportunities to provide after school programs to Refugee families. Reflective Scholars Inquiry & Growth (RSIG) project is an innovative program of learning opportunities. The purpose of the program is to provide after school tutoring in English Language Development for Refugee scholars to experience and participate in STEAM and Mindfulness activities to close' academic and emotional gap caused by breaks in educational services and family stability.
Tutoring will occur Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays for 1 hour after school. Additionally, explicitly teaching coping skills to manage the impact and effects of traumatic events.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITES:
The Teacher delivers instruction and conducts activities with students and parents using the STEAM and Mindfulness curriculum resources. Responsible for teaching and learning of students in the program.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Ability to work effectively in a team environment. This position will be based out of the Harrisburg School District Office but travel to local partners and satellite sites is expected.
SALARY: $36.00/hr -- Not to exceed 150 hours in the grant year.
