We are looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Demand Response (DR) Program Consultant!
We are seeking an experienced Demand Response (DR) Program Consultant to lead the implementation and oversight of the Residential Demand Response Program Component in Eastern PA. This role will manage subcontractors and technology partners, maintain strong relationships with the utility client, and ensure program performance meets regulatory and contractual requirements.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in demand-side management, and/or Energy Efficiency, and program operations, with proven experience in reporting, forecasting, and program leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, implementation, and management of residential DR offerings while ensuring compliance with Utility program requirements
- Oversee subcontractors and technology partners for DR program delivery, coordinating daily operations, branding, performance monitoring, and reporting
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the Utility PM, participating in weekly status meetings, quarterly business reviews (QBRs), and ad hoc client discussions
- Monitor program metrics such as enrollment, load reduction (kW), and customer satisfaction; provide accurate forecasting and monthly reporting on DR performance, costs, and savings; and ensure successful Utility data integration and compliance with EM&V protocols
- Maintain adherence to Act 129 requirements, Utility Program Plan, and Contract, while supporting reviews, evaluations, and reporting needs for compliance and M&V
- Collaborate with marketing and outreach teams to drive enrollment and participation and support strategies for hard-to-reach customers and moderate-income segments

- 5+ years experience in demand response, energy efficiency, or utility program management
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Energy Management, Business, or related field
- Knowledge of residential EE Programs and DR technologies
- Analytical skills for forecasting and performance reporting
- Familiarity with Pennsylvania Act 129 and utility regulatory frameworks preferred
- Ability to travel regularly within Eastern PA and to Allentown, PA office
