A leading proppant and logistics company operating in the Pennsylvania area is looking for a Safety Specialist to join their team. Based near Washington, PA - you would be responsible for providing safety leadership & support throughout the region. • Travel frequently across the northeast to promote a proactive safety culture for job site locations, with a heavy focus on compliance & employee engagement.
• Undertake safety inspections, incident investigations, and audits as deemed necessary.
• Lead safety meetings and site-specific safety training.
• Build relationships with staff & leadership as a support to operational excellence.
• Interface effectively & professionally with customers.
• Build/present Power Points and write/edit corporate safety policies.

• Bachelor's Degree in Safety or related discipline is required.
• Able to travel frequently for this position (primarily across Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia).
• Possess 2+ years of hands-on safety experience within either a proppant production, oil field services or similar environment.
• Strong communicator who is able to build relationships with operational staff & leadership.
• Local to the Washington, PA area.
