- One to five years of directly relevant electric utility Transmission & Distribution (T&D) Protection & Controls or substation field experience preferred.
- Experience supporting utility substations—not primarily industrial facilities, commercial electrical work, construction-only roles, or generation.
- Ability and willingness to travel throughout the Pennsylvania.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to learn from experienced commissioning personnel while working safely in energized utility environments.
- Basic understanding of transmission and distribution protection and control systems.
- Experience assisting with protective relay testing and power meter testing.
- Familiarity with relay setting uploads/downloads and relay verification.
- Ability to perform or assist with point-to-point wiring verification, current and voltage loop checks, and functional testing.
- Basic understanding of SCADA, control circuits, DC systems, and substation communications.
- Ability to read electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
- Experience with Doble Protection Suite, Enoserv RTS, or similar relay testing platforms is preferred.
- Strong attention to documentation, drawing markups (As-Builts), and project closeout
