Senior Water Resources Engineer

Our client is seeking a Water Resources Engineer to join their team in either Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania or the Philadelphia region. This opportunity sits within a well‑established, multidisciplinary engineering consultancy that delivers integrated transportation, water resources, and civil infrastructure projects for public and private sector clients across the Mid‑Atlantic.

• Support the planning, design, and delivery of water resources and civil infrastructure projects from concept through construction.
• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses for stormwater systems, watersheds, and floodplain studies.
• Contribute to the design of drainage infrastructure including roadway drainage, culverts, and bridge hydraulics.
• Assist with stormwater management design, site civil layouts, and grading plans in line with regulatory requirements.
• Prepare technical reports, design calculations, engineering plans, and construction documentation.
• Support permitting efforts and coordinate with local and state regulatory agencies.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams including transportation, structural, environmental, and survey professionals to deliver integrated project solutions.
• Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery across a range of infrastructure and municipal projects.
• Assist with construction phase services including responding to RFIs, reviewing submittals, and providing design support during implementation.

• Background in civil or environmental engineering with experience in hydrology, hydraulics, or water resources.
• Comfortable using modelling and design tools.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and contribute within a collaborative consulting environment focused on delivering technically sound and practical engineering solutions.
