Forensic Engineer

TYG is partnering with multiple leading and fast-growing AEC firms across the U.S. as they continue to scale their teams. We are currently seeking talented Engineers across various disciplines to support their ongoing growth and project demands.

• Conduct on-site investigations to assess structural damage, material failures, construction defects, and building performance issues.
• Perform engineering analyses, calculations, and modeling to determine causation and contributing factors.
• Prepare high-quality technical reports, opinions, and presentations suitable for legal and insurance audiences.
• Provide expert testimony in depositions, mediations, and trials as needed.
• Collaborate with attorneys, claims professionals, contractors, and design teams to support case strategy and resolution.
• Maintain thorough documentation and ensure all findings meet industry and professional standards.

• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or related engineering discipline (Master's preferred).
• 5+ years of engineering experience; forensic or inspection experience is a strong advantage.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, construction practices, and failure mechanisms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly.
• Ability to travel for site inspections and case meetings.
