Are You a Match?- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or equivalent years of formalized welding experience.
- Five or more years in B2B or specialized sales.
- Reliable transportation, current driver's license, minimum liability insurance as required by state of vehicle registration.
- Advance the Airgas Advanced Fabrication Sales Methodology to contribute to the growth of capital equipment, robotics, and automation solutions.
- Provide knowledgeable support and sharing of expertise on CNC cutting systems, robotic welding systems, and plasma/laser integration
- Act as a mentor to the wider Sales team; provide onsite product and application training for customers to help upskill their workforce and foster development.
- Coordinate the installation and servicing of fixed and robotic automation projects, ensuring alignment across all stakeholders.
- Collect and report on market trends, industry activities, and customer needs to keep Airgas as a trusted reference and leader in the industry.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Welding Engineering Degree is a valuable asset. However, we also value diverse technical backgrounds and encourage you to apply if you have Military Welding training.
- Exposure to technical sales or a consultative background is welcomed.
- 4+ years of experience within the welding or industrial industry, or a similar background where you have developed a deep understanding of the field.
Preferred Education and Certifications
- Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)
- Membership within the American Welding Society (AWS), American Society for Materials (ASM), American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT), American Society for Quality (ASQ), American Society for Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and/or Society for Mechanical Engineering (SME) highly desirable.
