Commissioning Engineer
Power your future with Qualus as a Commissioning Engineer with Qualus in our Field Engineering department! The incumbent will come with a strong background in planning and executing large-scale substation projects. Skilled in coordinating multidisciplinary teams, managing subcontracts, and ensuring quality control, the role will oversee commissioning activities, prepare detailed documentation and verify system integrity through visual checks and functional testing.
Responsibilities- BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of direct or related experience with testing and commissioning in a utility substation environment.
- Strong facilitation, team building, collaboration, organization and problem-solving skills.
- Highly effective communicator with clear and concise writing and presentation skills.
- High level of attention to detail with ability to quality-review work.
- Proficient computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite).
- Experience providing leadership to a diverse project team a plus.
