Electrical Design​/I&C Engineer

Constellation Energy seeks an Electrical Design/I&C Engineer to support utility-scale power generation and energy projects. In this role, you will design and review electrical and instrumentation & controls (I&C) systems, develop drawings and specifications, and ensure compliance with safety codes and industry standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement reliable, sustainable solutions, support construction and commissioning, and troubleshoot system issues.

Responsibilities

• Design and review electrical power and I&C systems for utility-scale energy facilities
• Develop engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications
• Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations
• Collaborate with project managers and multidisciplinary teams on project execution
• Support construction, testing, and commissioning of electrical and I&C systems
• Perform technical analyses, calculations, and equipment sizing
• Troubleshoot and resolve system performance and reliability issues
• Prepare engineering reports, studies, and documentation
• Interface with vendors and review equipment submittals
• Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation in low carbon energy projects
