Accounting Manager

Overview

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accounting Manager to lead the accounting operations for a well-established and growing company in the infrastructure and construction services sector. This is a full-time, onsite role responsible for overseeing general ledger management, financial reporting, project cost tracking, and compliance with internal controls (SOX 404) and accounting standards.

• Lead and manage the accounting team, including general ledger, project accounting, and fixed assets.
• Oversee the month-end close process and preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, SOX requirements, and support external audit processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting.
• Drive process improvements and support strategic initiatives such as ERP implementations and acquisition integrations.
• Provide financial insights and analysis to support executive decision-making and operational efficiency.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA, MBA, or MS in Accounting preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, SOX 404, and financial systems.
• Experience in construction, engineering, or project-based industries is a plus.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.

$125,000- $145,000

Benefit offerings for full-time employment include medical, dental, and vision. PTO is offered on an accrual basis. Paid Sick Leave where applicable by State law.
