Skills & Experience:

The Architect (Power BI Developer) will work within the Department of Health's data team, providing technical expertise in data visualization, reporting, and BI architecture. The consultant will collaborate with analysts, developers, and stakeholders to design scalable BI solutions that comply with state data governance standards and enhance decision-making across programs.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations for enterprise use.
- Build and optimize semantic data models to support reporting and analytics.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into BI solutions.
- Integrate Power BI solutions with SQL Server, Azure Synapse, and other enterprise data sources.
- Ensure compliance with data governance, quality, and security standards.
- Provide documentation, metadata, and training materials for BI solutions.
- Troubleshoot BI performance issues and optimize queries, DAX measures, and models.
- Support architecture governance and recommend best practices for BI adoption.
