• Design, develop, and implement Service Now applications and integrations.
• Customize core ITSM applications such as Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and CMDB.
• Develop and maintain custom applications/modules using Service Now Studio.
• Create workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies/actions, and automated tasks.
• Integrate Service Now with third-party tools via REST/SOAP APIs and MID Server.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and stakeholders to gather and clarify requirements.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and performance analytics widgets.
• Perform code reviews, unit testing, and maintain code quality and security.
• Maintain documentation on configurations, customizations, and system architecture.
• Documents all work for future reference.
• Able to work in a team environment.
• Able to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum development cycles and sprints.
Hands-on Service Now development experience Required 5 Years
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field. Required
Strong knowledge of JavaScript, Glide API, and Service Now scripting best practices. Required
Experience with ITSM and at least one additional module (e.g., ITOM, HRSD, SPM, Source2
Pay). Required
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Required
Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA) Required
Service Now Certified Application Developer (CAD) Required
Service Now Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS- ITSM, HRSD, Discovery) Desired
Experience with Automated Test Framework (ATF) Desired
Exposure to Service Now App Engine and Flow Designer. Desired
Understanding of CMDB and Discovery. Desired
Knowledge of Employee Service Portal and custom widget development Desired
