This position is ideal for an individual with a foundational understanding of Linux who is eager to specialize in enterprise backup and recovery solutions.
You will contribute significantly to system stability, provide essential technical support, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to maintain seamless IT operations within a fast-paced environment.
As a Linux/Comm Vault Systems Engineer, your responsibilities will encompass comprehensive system management and data protection. You will install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Linux-based systems, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to established standards. Experience with scripting languages such as Python and Bash is crucial for automation. Strong troubleshooting and debugging capabilities are required to efficiently identify and resolve both hardware and software issues. Familiarity with cloud computing concepts and platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), along with an understanding of version control systems like Git, are also important.
