Service Now Techno-Functional Consultant
We are seeking a Techno-Functional Service Now Consultant to join our team. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and functional knowledge to support and lead Service Now projects and requests effectively. The selected candidate will work in a dynamic environment, contributing significantly to the development and implementation of our Service Now platform.
Key Responsibilities:- Independently manage and execute Request Items, Tasks, and Projects with high quality and timely delivery.
- Lead the technical and functional development and support for Service Now requests, projects, and tasks.
- Conduct sprint planning sessions and provide accurate time and resource estimates.
- Coordinate release planning and execution in alignment with sprint delivery dates.
- Document detailed requirements/user stories in Azure Dev Ops (ADO) as required.
- Perform development tasks including configuration, coding, testing, automated test scripts using ATF, data loads, and scripting.
- Develop and execute testing plans and test scripts to ensure functionality meets project goals.
- Facilitate change presentations at Change Review Board meetings and ensure thorough documentation and knowledge transfer.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in supporting Service Now business processes.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in designing business processes for Service Now implementations.
- Participation in at least one hands-on Service Now implementation project as a functional or technical lead.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in coding and configuration on Service Now.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 suite and ADO Testing Module.
- In-depth knowledge of ITIL practices and methodologies.
- Strong ability to work independently, showcasing critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Skills:
- Over 8 years of experience in delivering Service Now services.
- Extensive experience with enterprise business solutions, specifically SAP projects.
- Solid understanding of ITIL / ITSM practices and methodologies.
Education:
- Required certifications: CIS-ITSM, CSA, or Service Now Certified Developer.
- Bachelor's degree in business management, information systems, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- All developments must follow Service Now Low Code capabilities or standard configuration changes per Service Now's Best Practices.
- Adherence to all relevant policies and IT standards is required.
