299 Architect/Subject Matter Expert – IT Security Tools

We are looking for an extreme Subject Matter Expert in IT security for this role. Our client has recently stood up a new data center which has a mixture of X86, Linux and mainframe systems. The suite of tools in place include Imperva database firewall, Imperva Web Application Firewall, Mac Afee, Splunk, Cyber Ark, Service Now and Arc Sight. We need a senior level Security Architect with a combined background of higher strategy architecture view and planning as well as hands-on experience configuring, deploying and supporting security tools to optimize and hook them into the supporting environment to apply and manage the security controls associated with Public Sector enterprises (State or Federal level).

Other responsibilities will include analyzing detection network placement and logging requirement of system and hook into the reporting and ticket generation structure in an efficient way. Providing troubleshooting support and mentoring to Service Delivery and Operations teams who perform the day to day operation, maintenance, and support of the security tool infrastructure. Working with vendors in coordinating L2 to L3 support when vendor engagement is required to solve incidents or resolve tool issues.

Required skills/experience include senior level Security Architect with a combined background of higher strategy architecture view and planning as well as hands-on experience configuring, deploying and supporting security products and tools such as:

• Imperva database firewall
• Imperva Web Application Firewall
• Mac Afee
• Splunk
• Cyber Ark
• Service Now
• Arc Sight

Resource should be familiar with the theory and operation of the following:

• Database and web application firewalls
  - Imperva preferred
• Privileged account access management
  - Cyber Ark

Resource should understand the various options and pros/cons for how these security tools can be integrated and configured to provide the security protections and security information reporting needs of an enterprise.

Experience with any of the following is a plus:

• Prior work in public sector, state or federal government
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM or appropriate vendor certification
