About the Role
As our Helpdesk Technician supporting AVP Warehouse, you will be the primary technical resource for our warehouse staff while also contributing to IT support across the broader organization. You will troubleshoot and resolve issues ranging from hardware and software problems to account access and network connectivity—ensuring our teams have the tools they need to keep operations running smoothly. Beyond day‑to‑day support, you will own the complete employee technology lifecycle, from configuring equipment and conducting onboarding sessions to managing offboarding and asset recovery.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on solving problems, enjoys working directly with people, and takes pride in delivering reliable, hands‑on support in a fast‑paced environment.
- Triage and handle requests in the help desk queue for end user, enterprise, and warehouse systems and hardware.
- Provide technical support across various operating systems and related hardware (including portables, desktops, and peripherals).
- Offer general account support, service outage assistance, and basic network support for the AVP Warehouse location and staff.
- Oversee the complete employee life‑cycle (on/off‑boarding), including conducting onboarding sessions, configuring IT equipment, setting up desks, and handing over accounts.
- Serve as a resource for best practices regarding hardware and application usage.
- 1+ year of IT support or related enterprise help desk experience preferred.
- Experience with Windows and macOS operating systems and hardware administration preferred.
- Skills in hardware support and configuration of iOS and Android devices preferred.
- General fluency with hardware configuration, troubleshooting, and support.
- Proven self‑starter who can work alone or in groups.
- Effective communication skills as the helpdesk technical resource.
- People‑centric mindset with strong problem‑solving and interpersonal skills.
- Day shift role, 7am – 4pm EST.
- Availability to change schedule as business demands require.
- Availability to be on‑call on weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to lift 30+ lbs.
$30 – $35 an hour. The base salary range for this position is $30–35/hr; compensation may vary based on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and location.
