IT Contractor
The PA PUC is seeking an experienced IT contractor with a minimum of 2 years' experience performing technical work in information technology security and support fields. This is a cross-team position to fulfill duties within our security and help desk teams.
Long-term contract engagement hybrid work arrangement with a minimum of 2 days per week onsite/in-office.
You will be required to provide general technology support, respond to and implement support tickets, assist documenting and managing incidents and vulnerabilities, perform network monitoring and reporting, and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and policies. The ideal candidate should be capable of working collaboratively between teams while also demonstrating the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Required/desired skills:
- Experience in information security related support
- Experience in helpdesk related support
- Experience with Microsoft server and workstation operating systems
- Experience with Microsoft O365 products
- Experience with incident reporting and support ticketing systems
- Experience with network and computer security testing tools
- Experience reading and interpreting security logs and reports
- Experience working with Tenable and Splunk
- Associate's degree or current certifications within information technology
Questions:
Do you understand, and will abide by, the provision in your subcontract with OST that it is PROHIBITED for government equipment to be taken or used outside of the United States by your contractors? The consequences of this occurring can and will result in repercussions to you, the prime vendor, regardless if the candidate works for a sub-vendor of yours. It will also result in immediate termination of the contractor, and make them ineligible for rehire in the program.
