Job Summary

The Venue Applications Support Analyst plays a pivotal role by ensuring technology at our venues functions seamlessly. The role focuses on Point‑of‑Sale (PoS) application support, while also providing support for systems such as CCTV, Digital Signage, and Time & Attendance. The majority of support is performed remotely, with onsite engagements across the United States.

Key Responsibilities
  • Input PoS data: menu items, prices, discounts, employee credentials, venue layouts, and more.
  • Adhere to strict standards for maintaining system data integrity.
  • Diagnose device malfunctions, including software, hardware, and peripheral accessories.
  • Author end‑user guides to improve system usability for operators.
  • Test new software versions thoroughly and document issues.
  • Escalate systemic problems and document frequency of issues.
  • Develop processes that improve accuracy and timeliness of support tasks.
  • Lead on‑call helpdesk hotline during peak support periods.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to users with varying technical aptitude.
  • Travel to venues for software implementations and support.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 1year experience supporting PoS systems (preferably Appetize and/or Micros).
  • Exceptional attention to detail for identifying patterns and curating obscure system data.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas and pivot tables.
  • Experience with food and beverage business operations; ideally multi‑location enterprises.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with limited information.
  • Ability to reprioritize tasks rapidly without missing deadlines.
  • Identify risk of missing deadlines and collaborate on task exchange with teammates.
  • Outstanding customer service etiquette, both written and verbal.
  • Positive, driven attitude focused on opportunity in difficulty.
  • Basic familiarity with accounting practices (e.g., balancing finances/inventory).
  • Degree or certificate in a technology field is a plus; not required.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% (potentially more during peak season March–October).
Physical Requirements / Work Environment

• Sits for extended periods at a computer station.
• Stands, walks, and uses hands and fingers regularly.
• Lifts up to 20pounds and crouches/kneels/bends frequently.
• Exposed to normal office and venue crowd environments, including high noise levels.
• Travel may include flying, driving, or mass transit.
