SOC Analyst

SOC Analyst Onsite

Diversified Systems is searching for an SOC Analyst to serve as a core member, contributing to overall operational readiness and supporting a 24/7 shift schedule. Interested candidates must be willing to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

The SOC Analyst I will provide monitoring, event triage, incident support, and escalation services for mission-essential communication sites and information systems while ensuring accurate documentation, timely response, and adherence to operational procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Support a 24/7 schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Provide proactive, on-site monitoring and response for mission-essential communication sites and information systems.
• Classify, prioritize, and escalate alerts promptly to ensure timely resolution.
• Follow established procedures for data collection, triage, analysis, classification, and escalation to meet performance targets.
• Capture, log, respond, and escalate events from email, chat, voice, and other systems with accurate documentation.
• Collect and analyze technical data to classify events, distinguish valid issues from false positives, and maintain triage accuracy standards.
• Work with team members to develop and refine playbooks, dashboards, metrics, and detection strategies.
• Coordinate effectively with stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of incidents and recommended response actions.
• Provide support during network and security incidents, assisting with resolution efforts as directed.

Requirements:

• Willingness to work flexible shifts in a 24/7 schedule required.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment required.
• 1-3 years of experience working in a Security Operations Center highly desired.
