Job Duties

  • Extracts and cleanses data from the College’s Student Information System, Data Warehouse, SQL queries, and other systems using established procedures.
  • Maintains current and accurate compliance records and files as required by third-party organizations.
  • Prepares data and descriptive analyses for research studies led by the Executive Director.
  • Assists with benchmarking and environmental scans.
  • Maintains and updates reports designed by the Director for Institutional Research.
  • Creates presentation-quality reports, visualizations, and graphs.
  • Manages the lifecycle of ad hoc and scheduled classroom, faculty, and staff surveys, including survey development, cleaning and summarizing results, and producing basic survey reports for departments.
  • Assists in data management and organization for Institutional Research.
  • Assists in updating reports and maintaining information on the portal and website.
  • Assists with data gathering for the various federal, state, and external grants.
  • Contributes to the college’s accreditation efforts by assisting with the gathering of necessary data and evidence.
  • Develops and reviews annual reporting for Institutional Factbook and Graduate Outcome Reports.
  • Updates and Maintains the IR Annual Reporting Calendar
  • Monitors and maintains Institutional Research data request ticket queue.
  • Communicates on behalf of IR to internal and external stakeholders regarding project timelines, guidelines, and expectations as directed.
  • Monitors and maintains the IR email account mailbox.
  • Creates and maintains technical documentation including detailed queries, data sources, and processes and follows established data standards and definitions.
  • Pursues professional development opportunities to learn emerging tools and advance technical skillsets as needed.
Job Qualifications

Qualifications:

Required

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university in a related field.

Certifications

  • Act 153 Clearances (Act 34 PA Criminal Background, Act 151 PA Child Abuse History, Act 114 FBI Clearance Fingerprinting)

Work Experience

  • Two years of experience in higher education administration, Institutional Research, Assessment, Foundation or Development, and/or Enrollment highly desired.
  • Basic proficiency in SQL, Survey Monkey, and Argos.

  • Ability to maintain accurate and detailed program records
  • Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to learn the College’s administrative computing systems (Banner, Info Quest, Argos, Lightcast).
  • Communication:
    Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to draft and edit professional correspondence.
  • Detail Orientation:
    High level of accuracy in proofreading, data entry, and document preparation.

    Skills:

    Confident in learning and using digital tools for data entry, scheduling, faculty load and compensation, document management and virtual collaboration.

Preferred

  • Degrees in Data Analytics, Statistics, Social Science, Education, Business, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with Statistical or data science language.
  • Experience in project management, higher education and/or database management.
  • Knowledge of survey design and analysis.
  • Knowledge of academic software.
Institution Description

LCCC is located in Schnecksville, PA 18078.

  • 21 Vacation days per year (accrued at 1 3/4 days per month)
