SAP MDG Techno-Functional Consultant

Location:

Remote – Harrisburg, PA

We are seeking an experienced SAP MDG Techno-Functional Consultant with strong expertise in SAP Master Data Governance (MDG), configuration, workflow, data modeling, and integration.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with MDG-BP, MDG-FI, IDoc/SOA integration, and end-to-end MDG implementation and support activities.

• Configure and support SAP MDG solutions across multiple business domains.

• Work on MDG-BP and MDG-FI data models.

• Perform Data Modeling, Process Modeling, and UI Modeling.

• Configure and manage:

  • Data Models

  • Workflow/Process Models

  • UI Models

  • BRF+ Rules

  • Validation and Derivation Rules

  • Change Request (CR) Frameworks

• Support the complete MDG Change Request lifecycle and troubleshoot workflow issues.

• Perform data mapping, validations, derivations, and SMT Mapping.

• Support data replication, IDoc/SOA processing, error handling, and data monitoring.

• Troubleshoot workflow routing and integration issues.

• Manage incidents and provide ongoing AMS and production support.

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.

• Participate in peer reviews, walkthroughs, and technical documentation.

• Collaborate with cross-functional and distributed teams.

• Work effectively in Waterfall and Agile environments.

• 5+ years of SAP MDG experience.

• Experience with at least 2 full lifecycle SAP MDG implementations.

• Strong hands-on experience with MDG-BP and MDG-FI.

• Experience with IDoc and SOA integrations.

• Strong expertise in:

  • SAP MDG Configuration

  • Data Modeling

  • Process Modeling

  • UI Modeling

  • BRF+

  • Validation and Derivation Rules

  • Change Request Frameworks

• Experience with MDG Change Request lifecycle and workflow troubleshooting.

• Strong knowledge of Data Mapping and SMT Mapping.

• Experience with data replication and integration support.

• Strong functional knowledge of SAP SD and SAP FI.

• Experience with Incident Management and AMS/Production Support.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

• Experience working in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.

• Strong technical and functional documentation skills.

• Experience working with cross-functional and distributed teams.

• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
