Buyer Details:

• Direct Hire position
• $ 55,000.00 to $ 65,000.00 / annually
• First Shift (Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 04:00pm)

• Purchase and source MRO parts, supplies, equipment, and services needed for daily manufacturing operations and repairs.
• Compare vendors and negotiate pricing, shipping terms, warranties, quality, and delivery timelines to secure the best value.
• Manage vendor-managed inventory and maintain appropriate stock levels for safety supplies, consumables, and critical parts.
• Pick up MRO parts from vendors using a company truck or van and maintain an organized, safe warehouse area.
• Research and purchase specialized or technical equipment manufactured specifically to meet the company's operational needs.

Buyer

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent purchasing/warehouse experience; manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with Net Suite or another ERP system is preferred.
• Valid Pennsylvania driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to drive a company vehicle.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs., stand for extended periods, climb ladders, work overhead, and perform frequent bending, kneeling, twisting, and turning.
• Must be able to obtain forklift training and pass required background and substance screenings for this direct-hire position.
