Facilities Assistant - 2nd Shift
The Facilities Assistant is responsible for Facilities maintenance inside and outside on the buildings.
An Outside Maintenance associate (facilities assistant) is expected to perform the following essential job functions:
- Operate a fork lift, pallet jack, riding tractor, hydraulic recycle baler, trash compactor, snow plow, and various other powered tools and hand tools. Incumbent must be able to perform equipment pre-startup inspection forms and follow all safety requirements for the equipment based on manufacturers recommendations.
- Load/unload equipment, materials, recyclables and other material handling tasks.
- Maintain buildings and grounds. Washing, sweeping, trash pickup, painting, trimming, and shoveling.
- Other maintenance related tasks as needed.
Communication
Skills:
verbal and written; must be able to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Powered Industrial Truck license, PA driver's license.
Physical Requirements - Rarely(0-12%) - Occasionally(13 33%) - Frequently(34-66%) - Regularly(67-100%)
Seeing:
Must be able to read reports and use a computer
Hearing:
Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with others and talk on the phone.

Finger/Grasping/Feeling Must be able to write, type file, turn pages and use phone system
Food Manufacturing Production plant environment. Wet and cold conditions in some areas (32-40 degrees)
