• Position: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – LTAC / Long-Term Acute Care Nurse
• Location: Harrisburg, PA 17101 (Harrisburg healthcare jobs / Pennsylvania travel nursing)
• Setting: Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTAC, complex medical patients)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (March 16, 2026 – June 15, 2026)
• Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,890 – $1,990 (W2 travel nurse)
• Openings: 3 travel RN positions available
• Employment Type: Travel, W2 (travel nursing job)
• Work Type: On-site LTAC nursing position

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license:
  Pennsylvania RN or multistate compact RN license accepted
• Minimum 2 years of bedside clinical experience required; ICU/critical care experience strongly preferred
• ACLS certification required prior to first shift
• BLS certification (AHA) required prior to first shift
• Strong assessment, prioritization, critical thinking, and documentation skills for LTAC / acute care nursing
• Experience supervising and delegating to LPNs, CNAs, and orienting staff
• Ability to function as charge nurse when needed following orientation

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission and develop individualized LTAC care plans
• Deliver direct patient care using the nursing process for medically complex patients and provide family education
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and promptly in the patient chart
• Communicate changes in patient status to the interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity and safety of care
• Participate in patient rehabilitation programs and interdisciplinary team conferences focused on long-term acute care
• Initiate discharge planning and patient teaching beginning on day of admission
• Provide direction, training, and supervision to ancillary staff; delegate tasks appropriately
• Promote a culture of safety by adhering to hospital guidelines, infection control, and safety protocols
• Assume charge responsibilities as needed following orientation to the LTAC setting
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment that supports travel nurses and permanent staff
