Locums - Neurosurgery NP/PA Opportunity in Northwestern Pennsylvania
Locums - A well respected hospital system is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to assist with Neurosurgery coverage in northwestern Pennsylvania.
Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
Start August 2026 for ongoing need
Minimum of 1 year of neurosurgery or surgical experience required
Weekend coverage is highly prioritized with rare and sporadic additional weekday opportunities available
Friday 5p-7a;
Sat/Sun 7a-7a; weekdays would be 7a-5p when needed
Responsibilities include rounding, consults, admissions, floor call management
Approx 15-20 ppd
Adult patient population
Call is telephone based (calls from floor and placing orders), will not require provider to be on-site after hospital shift hours
First assist experience preferred but not required
Cases included spine and cranial neurosurgery patients
EMR EPIC
PA license preferred or willing to obtain ASAP, BLS, ACLS, recent case logs required
Competitive rate, mileage, lodging, malpractice provided
