LPN Float Pool Position
NRHS is seeking an LPN to join the float pool. The specialty clinic float pool team supports the NRHS Specialty Clinic Network which consists of 12 to 13 different clinics representing various specialties. As a float pool healer, you will step into a clinic as needed and ensure that patients are roomed, vitals are taken, charts are completed, and that all patients have an excellent experience in NRHS specialty clinics.
This position represents a great opportunity to learn how providers in many different clinics care for their specific patient population.
Job Summary
- Provides care to patients of all ages and assistance to physicians in the Norman Regional Clinics.
- Rooming patients, documentation in the Electronic Medical Record system, vitals signs, assisting with day to day patient care modalities and other duties as assigned.
- Flexibility and adaptability are crucial for this role, as well as the ability to pay close attention to detail and multi-task.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment, and transition duties as needed during clinic days.
- Effective customer service, communication, and ability to follow through with all tasks assigned with accuracy and efficiency are essential for this role.
Qualifications
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent and completion of a vocational program for Licensed Practical Nurse.
Experience
- Prefer at least 1-2 year experience in a clinical or physician-office setting, emergency room and/or a hospital setting that provides patient care. Experience in office clerical activities desirable.

Licensure/Certification
- Current LPN license from the State of Oklahoma or active Multistate LPN license is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained for duration of employment.
Compensation/Benefits
- $17.39-$28.40/hr depending on previous work experience.
