Job Title

Clinical Research Nurse C/D (OBGYN - GYN Oncology)

• Coordinate the conduct of Phase I–IV clinical trials including screening and enrolling eligible subjects, and follow GCP guidelines in the conduct of trials.
• Generate and report serious and non‑serious adverse events per protocol, and coordinate subject care with the clinical team.
• Provide coverage and support to other research nurses and coordinators to meet departmental staffing needs.
• Maintain ongoing communication with clinical teams including laboratory, infusion, radiology, advanced practitioners, triage, inpatient and pharmacy.
• Assist with staff/study team education and participate in study‑related meetings.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

• Provide clinical oversight for investigational product administration and ensure absolute adherence to complex trial protocols.
• Manage scheduling and coordination of subject study treatment, follow‑up visits and procedures.
• Collect and transcribe data from source documents into case report forms.
• Ensure proper screening and enrollment of all study participants; oversee informed consent and confirm eligibility.
• Ensure proper reporting of serious and non‑serious adverse events to the sponsor and all applicable committees.
• Prepare study‑related documents, binders, registries and templates for study start‑up.
• Assist with protocol implementation and logistical feasibility.
• Meet with Principal Investigator to discuss study related issues and ensure completion of study related procedures.
• Orient and mentor new unit staff and function as a resource for current staff.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Position requires an individual with excellent oral and written communication skills. The candidate should possess the ability to work independently and also as part of a team. Strong planning, organizational and prioritizing capabilities along with problem‑solving skills are desired. Must be able to work flexible hours. Previous research experience and knowledge of IRB processes, human research protection regulations, and regulatory management are preferred.

A background in oncology is preferred.

• Clinical Research Nurse C:
  Registered Nurse with licensure in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania without restriction or limitation. Bachelor’s degree and 2 to 3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required. BSN preferred.
• Clinical Research Nurse D:
  Registered Nurse with licensure in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania without restriction or limitation. Bachelor’s degree and 4 to 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required. BSN preferred.
