Position Overview
Bert Nash Community Mental Health Center is seeking a compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join the adult psychiatric outpatient services team in Lawrence, Kansas.
Position Details- Great opportunity for an experienced ARNP or PMHNP passionate about community mental health – 2 years or more of prescribing NP required
- Prior exposure to underserved populations required (training, work experience, or significant volunteer experience acceptable); NP experience does not need to be in psychiatric care
- Provide care to individuals with serious and persistent mental illness, chronic trauma, and complex psychosocial needs, regardless of ability to pay
- Mix of in‑person and telehealth visits; adult panel required, adolescent patients optional
- Monday through Friday 8:30 am – 5:30 pm; no call, no holidays, no weekends
- Starting salary $140,000 and comprehensive benefits
- Lawrence is a college town with the livability of a close‑knit community, 45 miles from Kansas City and MCI International Airport
