Job Description: The Health/Nurse Coordinator supports the effective implementation and coordination of student health services at all three school levels. This role works collaboratively with school nurses, administrators, and staff to ensure compliance with state and district health regulations, promote student wellness, and maintain safe and responsive health practices within the school setting. The coordinator performs these responsibilities outside of the regular school day in accordance with district expectations for supplemental positions.

Qualifications- Experience: Experience working with school age students and coordinating and managing events.
- Skills: Strong managerial, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work with students of all ability levels.
- Education: Valid PA teaching certificate.
- Coordinate Student Health Services: Collaborate with building nurses to ensure consistent delivery of student health services, including management of chronic conditions, medication administration protocols, and response procedures for medical emergencies.
- Ensure Compliance with Health Regulations: Monitor and support adherence to state and district health requirements (e.g., immunizations, physicals, screenings), maintaining accurate and up-to-date student health records in accordance with legal and district guidelines.
- Serve as Liaison and Communicator: Act as a point of contact between school staff, families, healthcare providers, and district administration regarding student health concerns, communicable diseases, and health‑related policies or updates.
- Support Health Programming and Training: Assist in the coordination of health‑related initiatives, including student wellness programs, staff training (e.g., CPR/AED, Epi Pen use), and dissemination of health and safety information to the school community.
- Has read and understands obligations as outlined in MNSD School Board Policies.
- Other duties as assigned by Administration.
Frequency of meetings: September – June
Clearances: In accordance with the school code, Act 24 and all related clearances.

1-2 years experience - $438.00
3-5 years experience - $475.00
6 years & over experience - $510.00
