Description of WorkThis position provides professional nursing care to individuals who rely on skilled assessment and treatment. It involves working with a team to support physical, mental, and emotional health needs.
- Nursing Assessment: Evaluate the physical, mental, and emotional status of consumers.
- Care Planning: Develop and adjust treatment plans using nursing standards and facility guidelines.
- Medication Oversight: Administer medications and monitor responses to treatment.

Work with interdisciplinary staff to coordinate care and share observations. - Safety Practices: Follow crisis prevention, infection control, and safety procedures in all care settings.
- Staff Guidance: Provide direction, support, and education to assigned personnel.
- Full‑time employment.
- Positions are available on 2nd shift (6 shifts of 6:45 pm–7:15 am, one shift of 2:45 pm–11:15 pm, 30‑minute lunch). Rotating schedule; work every other weekend and holidays as assigned.
- 2nd shift receives $1.25/hour shift differential.
- New hires may be eligible for a $1,000.00 retention incentive payment if they meet criteria in the current collective bargaining agreement.

Not applicable. - New employees who are new to employment in Pennsylvania begin at a starting annual salary of $88,982.00 (before taxes).
Special Requirements
- Active authorization to practice as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania.
- Employees with an active temporary practice permit must obtain licensure within one year as defined by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.
- Philadelphia residency requirement currently waived.
- Graduating within 60 days of a nursing program approved by the Board is eligible to apply, but must show proof of a valid temporary practice permit or RN license at appointment.
- Must be able to perform essential job functions.
- A conditional offer requires satisfactory medical examination and drug screening.
- Falls under the Older Adult Protective Services Act: requires submission of satisfactory criminal history reports, including state police and FBI clearance.
