Travel Nurse, RN Nurse, Healthcare Nursing, Private Duty Nurse
Registered Nurse
Provides, coordinates, and directs the provision of home nursing care according to physicians' orders based on agency policies and procedures. Utilizes the nursing process through competent application in all aspects of care. Responsible to the Clinical Manager. Supervises and evaluates Home Health Aides and Licensed Practical Nurses/Licensed Vocational Nurses. Requires home visits and participation in periodic office meetings. Must have reliable transportation, a current driver's license, and agency-required liability insurance.
Average number of patients per day is 5-8. Contractor will be assigned between 5-10 patients per day with varying point values for different activities. Types of cases include Start of Care, Wound Care, Follow-Up Visits, etc. Must be willing to travel up to 75 miles from home clinic. Mileage reimbursement is provided at the IRS standard rate. Local candidates are accepted.
Must be open to on-call rotations as per location requirements. All travelers must be proficient in Home Care Home Base and have utilized it within the last 6 months, or complete a retraining course. Documentation must be completed within 24 hours of patient appointments. Delayed or incomplete documentation may result in cancellation of shifts. There are no guaranteed hours with this contract.
Weekly productivity points requirement is 30, correlating to approximately 40 hours of work per week. Travelers should be prepared to accept any patient on their schedule, regardless of distance.
