Your Role

As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with Seniority Healthcare, you will play a vital role in the mental health and well-being of seniors residing in senior living communities. You will:

  • Conduct psychiatric evaluations and provide evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications, ensuring safe and effective use.
  • Collaborate closely with primary care providers, therapists, BHCMs, families, and facility staff to provide holistic care.
  • Engage in regular case consultations and interdisciplinary team meetings.
  • Educate residents, families, and staff about mental health conditions and treatment options.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and stay informed about best practices in geriatric psychiatry.
Qualifications:
  • Board Certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
  • Experience or strong interest in working with geriatric populations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.
  • Ability to travel to senior living communities in the designated region(s).
  • Current PA state licensure.
  • Willingness to become licensed in additional states (or current NJ, NY, DE state licensure)

In-person facility based 8am-4pm, in Harrisburg PA area
