Job Description

The Lab Technician will handle samples, perform analyses, and report accurate and timely data according to Laboratory Operating Procedures and test methodologies. The role involves working in the metals lab.

Responsibilities

* Handle samples in accordance with laboratory protocols.

* Perform analyses using designated methodologies.

* Report data accurately and promptly.

* Adhere to Laboratory Operating Procedures.

Essential Skills

* Proficiency in laboratory procedures.

* Knowledge of chemistry.

* Experience with lab equipment.

* Candidate with experience in sciences with an associate's or bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline.

* Skills in wet chemistry, pH measurement, and pipetting.

Work Environment

The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm, with flexibility required for shifts such as 7 am to 4 pm or 9 am to 6 pm as needed. The role is based in the metals lab, offering a structured environment that promotes teamwork and growth opportunities, enabling progression from lab technician to various levels of chemist.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Harrisburg, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $24.00/hr.
