Our Fine Wine & Good Spirits (FW&GS) Store in Parkesburg is looking for a Full-Time Sales Team Lead (Liquor Store Clerk
2) - apply today!
This role focuses on leading a shift and guiding clerks to ensure smooth and efficient store operations. Work includes collaborating with FW&GS management to support a friendly, team oriented environment. As a Liquor Store Clerk 2, you will perform the following duties:
- Shift Leadership: Guide clerks and keep store activity moving in an organized and efficient way while maintaining store cleanliness
- Customer Assistance: Help shoppers locate products, resolve service and product related concerns promptly, and ensure they receive friendly service
- Sales Handling: Operate computerized registers, manage transactions accurately, and follow all legal guidelines controlling the sale of alcohol
- Stocking Work: Unload shipments, arrange products on shelves, and assemble product displays
- Training Support: Coach less experienced clerks so they learn store procedures and expectations
- Report Completion: Prepare shift reports for accounting, inventory, and cash management

- Work hours will vary, totaling 75 hours biweekly.

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Six months as a Liquor Store Clerk 1 or Intermittent Liquor Store Clerk (Commonwealth job titles or equivalent Federal Government job titles, as determined by the Office of Administration);
or - Six months of retail sales work.
Other Requirements:

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
- You must pass a background investigation. An applicant with a felony conviction within the last ten years of their prospective date of employment is not permitted to work for the PLCB, per section 210(c) of the Pennsylvania Liquor Code. Other criminal convictions will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
