The primary purpose of this job is to enter orders, schedules work and production, supervise and train team members, receive, store, and stock items, check dates, change pricing of items going out of code, and does all department tasks as needed.

Duties and responsibilities include: performing markdowns and tracking loss, performing all tasks and running all equipment associated with the deli, carryout, café, and cheese, cleaning and sanitizing all work surfaces, making sandwiches, subs, and wraps, labeling, and putting them into the display case as per standard operating procedures, making pizza per SOP, using the turbo oven to cook, removing and cutting the pizza, placing into packaging, and giving the pizza to customers, helping customers, cutting and slicing meat or cheese, portioning out deli food into containers, weighing, and labeling the items, producing for the grab and go self serve case, carrying cases of chicken to worktable, putting chicken on roasting racks, putting rack into roasting oven, roasting chicken, wrapping, and labeling the chicken, cleaning roaster, dumping the oil, and taking the oil to the rendering bin, carrying cases of chicken parts to worktable, dipping chicken in batter, filling the fryer basket with chicken and frying the chicken, wrapping, and labeling the fried chicken, adding oil and cleaning the fryer when necessary, ordering for smoked program (if applicable) from meat department, training and demonstrating the smoker program and process, breaking down and cleaning specified equipment every 4 hours, pushing and pulling a U-boat to receiving, loading the U-boat with cartons and containers, and pushing to the department, unloading, and storing goods and supplies, identifying and following SOP for marking Flashfood donations, using wipes, brooms, hoses, squeegees, mop and pail, cleaners, and sanitizers to clean, wash, rinse, and sanitize implements, equipment, cases, floors, and counters, preparing and stocking all products in department sales floor cases, tracking and recording loss using known loss tracking, performing numerous recordkeeping functions, organizing sales floor cooler and freezer, and planning weekly Circular ad.

General rules include: reporting all accidents and filing incident report to the supervisor within 24 hours, getting a First Aid kit immediately for all injuries, following instructions, reporting unsafe conditions to the supervisor, apparel and footwear must follow the company policy, horseplay is forbidden, no running on the premises, knowing emergency evacuation routes, exits, and alarms, wearing PPE where required, demonstrating proper food safety and sanitation work habits, using proper lifting procedures, keeping floors and work areas clear and clean, never leaving running machinery unattended, this is a smoke free shop, team members are responsible for understanding company policy and procedures, knowing MSDS information about all materials used during work, completing and following Lockout/Tagout training, completing and following Confined Space training, completing Right-to-Know training, and completing any ELM courses that have been added to their page.
