Pennsylvania Regional Sales Manager
The Pennsylvania Regional Sales Manager will lead a large, high-growth market with responsibility for 15–20 Financial Advisors who may collectively support more than 50 retail branches. This role requires a leader who can manage advisor performance, strengthen branch partnerships, and build a clear coverage model that helps teams grow while delivering consistent client experience. The focus is not simply on managing day-to-day sales activity, but on leading a complex market, developing advisor talent, improving partner engagement, and positioning the region for stronger growth in 2026 and beyond.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead sales management for assigned Pennsylvania markets, including advisor coverage across branches, advisor productivity, and market growth.
- Manage and develop Financial Advisors across the assigned territory, including coaching, performance management, succession planning, and junior advisor development.
- Partner with Retail, Wealth, Business Banking, and other internal stakeholders to improve referrals, joint appointments, and client engagement.
- Evaluate branch coverage needs and recommend realignment where advisor capacity, retirement risk, performance, or market opportunity requires change.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and development of Financial Advisors and junior talent.
- Build consistent routines for sales management, pipeline review, referral follow-up, and market execution.
- Be visible in the community by building local relationships that strengthen market presence, support client growth, and create new referral opportunities.
- Monitor sales results, branch engagement, advisor performance, and key growth metrics across the territory.
- Ensure completion of required compliance, regulatory, and risk training.
- Promote a culture of accountability, belonging, advisor growth, and client-focused execution.
- Maintain internal control standards and escalate risk-related issues as appropriate.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required:
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 9 years' experience in a sales environment, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 13 years' higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 9 years' experience in a sales environment
FINRA Series 7, 63, and 65/66 Licenses or successful attainment of them within 12 months of job start date
Pertinent state Life Insurance license
Education and Experience Preferred:Bachelor's and/or Master's degree preferred; experience leading advisors across multi-branch markets; strong background in coaching, succession planning, and sales execution.
