Member Specialist Opportunity
Hi! I'm Charlie and I work at AAA Central Penn. I am a People & Culture Generalist. Part of my job is to find great people to add to the organization and assist with their development here. That's how I help.
I've always looked at AAA as helpers. So, how does AAA help? There's a really long answer to that.
There's the emergency roadside piece. Of course, we help that way. It's awesome. But we're more than that. I always tell people that you don't realize what AAA does until you work here. There are so many ways. Sooo. Many. Ways.
This is kind of what we are looking for in one of our other helpers, our Member Specialist. Let's start here.
- Be awesome.
- Like people.
- Can laugh at jokes that you don't necessarily think are funny, but at least it wasn't offensive just wasn't your sense of humor so you can smile a little bit to make that person feel like they made your day by cracking that joke and understand what I am saying in this incredibly long run-on sentence that Mr. Howell, my 8th grade English teacher, would be scowling at me and getting ready to say "Charles" in that weird growl where you couldn't tell if he was really furious or think it was amusing like on the inside.
- Take joy in knowing that you made the man mentioned in the above run-on sentence happy by laughing. Sorry, Mr. Howell.
- Take joy in knowing that it could have been a woman in the mention two bullet points ago instead of a man or any human telling a cheesy joke or throwing around some old school sarcasm from the 60's that lands about 50% of the time but they still throw it out there every chance they get that you made happy by laughing.
Cheesy jokes are not gender specific. - Kind.
- Ask questions.
I was really trying to do one of those things where the first letter in each line of the bullet points made a word, but it got away from me. BLCTKA is gibberish. Again, I apologize, Mr. Howell.
Basically, if you match the description of at least some of things rambled through above, or intrigued by the far more understandable description below, you might be our next Member Specialist. It's a pretty cool job. Do you want to help?
If you're looking for a stable, rewarding career opportunity with room to grow, this is your chance to deliver exceptional service while making an impact—starting at $17.65 per hour.
