Lead Technician

Are you an experienced technician with a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems? Do you enjoy solving complex technical problems while leading and developing others?

We're seeking a Lead Technician to join a growing engineering and vehicle manufacturing operation in York, PA. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you'll serve as the senior technical resource on the shop floor, supporting a team of technicians while ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and operational performance.

• Lead the diagnosis and repair of complex mechanical and electrical issues.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair vehicle components and associated systems.
• Support preventative maintenance initiatives to reduce downtime and improve reliability.
• Mentor, train, and onboard technicians while promoting best practices across the team.
• Assist with daily work allocation, workflow coordination, and resource planning.
• Conduct testing, inspections, and quality assurance activities to ensure products meet required standards.
• Maintain accurate service records, maintenance documentation, and technical reports.
• Promote a culture of safety and ensure compliance with workplace procedures and regulations.

• Experience in a Lead Technician, Senior Technician, Electro-Mechanical Technician, Multi-Craft Technician, Maintenance Technician, Heavy Equipment Technician, Diesel Technician, or similar position.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and diagnostic capabilities.
• Background working within manufacturing, heavy equipment, defence, military vehicles, construction equipment, automotive, agricultural machinery, or industrial environments.
• Ability to lead by example while remaining hands‑on in a technical capacity.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
