School Psychologist Opportunity

RCM Health Care Services is looking for a full or part time School Psychologist to provide services to mostly elementary students, with a few high school students, in Harrisburg, PA. Interviews conducted now! Several positions are available, as district prefers to have one school psychologist working at one building.

Hourly Rate: up to $65.00 per hour (based on experience)

Position Summary:

RCM Health Care is seeking a full-time or part-time School Psychologist to provide comprehensive psychological services to K-12 students in a school-based setting. The School Psychologist will conduct evaluations, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, consult with educators and families, and support students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional success. Immediate interviews are available for qualified candidates.

Key Duties:

  • Administer and interpret psychometric, diagnostic, and clinical assessments for students.
  • Prepare comprehensive evaluation reports and communicate findings to parents, school staff, and other stakeholders.
  • Participate as a member of the multidisciplinary team (MDT), including ESAP/SAP processes and eligibility meetings.
  • Provide consultation, classroom strategies, behavioral interventions, and crisis support to school staff.
  • Develop therapeutic group sessions and behavioral management plans for students with intensive needs.
  • Collaborate with outside agencies providing mental health and emotional support services.
  • Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local special education regulations and evaluation timelines.
  • Plan and present professional development opportunities for school staff as needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and complete all assigned responsibilities in a timely and professional manner.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Special Education or Superintendent.

Requirements:

Education:

  • Required:

    Master's Degree in School Psychology or related field

Licenses &

Certifications:

  • Required:

    Pennsylvania School Psychologist Certification
  • Current Criminal Background, Child Abuse, and FBI Clearances

Skills:

  • Experience working with children in an educational setting.
  • Strong knowledge of psycho educational evaluations, special education regulations, and multidisciplinary team processes.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and report-writing skills.
  • Ability to effectively support students, families, and school personnel in a collaborative environment.
