Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Java Architect to lead the design and development of enterprise‑scale applications within a modern banking technology environment. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Java, Microservices, Spring Boot, and modern front‑end frameworks such as Angular or React. This role requires strong architectural leadership, hands‑on development capabilities, and experience building highly scalable, secure, and resilient applications.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of software development experience
• 5+ years of experience in solution/application architecture
• Strong expertise in Java/J2EE
• Extensive experience with Spring Boot and Spring Cloud
• Hands‑on experience designing and implementing Microservices architecture
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and integrating enterprise applications
• Strong experience with Angular and/or React
• Experience with event‑driven architecture and messaging technologies
• Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL
• Strong understanding of design patterns, SOLID principles, and secure coding practices
• Experience with cloud platforms and containerization technologies
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops practices

Responsibilities

• Design and architect enterprise‑grade applications using Java and Microservices.
• Define architecture standards, frameworks, and best practices.
• Lead technical design discussions and architectural reviews.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and development teams.
• Develop scalable REST APIs and integration services.
• Guide development teams on coding standards and architectural compliance.
• Drive modernization initiatives and cloud adoption strategies.
• Ensure application security, performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Support CI/CD implementation and Dev Ops transformation efforts.
• Mentor senior and mid‑level developers.

Preferred Qualifications

• Banking or Financial Services experience
• Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging platforms
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes/Open Shift
• Knowledge of OAuth2, JWT, SSO, and enterprise security frameworks
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
