Material Handler

As one of the largest utility distribution organizations, Irby Utilities invites experienced associates to support our logistical operations and drive efficiency across our services.

• Working independently to load, unload, and move materials within or near the work site
• Utilizing RF devices to fill orders and issue materials and supplies upon request
• Operating material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks or dollies
• Packing and shipping customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Championing effective inventory management practices
• Adhering to and promoting safety and security policies and procedures
• Demonstrating exceptional reliability while maintaining a safe and clean work environment

• Ability to reach, bend, and lift or push packages that weigh up to 50 lbs.
• Attention to detail and good time management skills
• Ability to work full time, 40 hours per week
