Universal Banking Supervisor Overview:

Position supervises, trains and evaluates Universal Bankers and promotes an active sales and service environment by assigning work and resolving problems that arise in daily operations. Responsible for providing customer service through prompt, courteous and accurate delivery of bank services and transactions.

  • Supervise Universal Bankers at respective location
  • Assist with the hiring and training of Universal Bankers
  • Communicate policies and procedures to staff and schedules staff meetings
  • Prepare Universal Banker and Teller work schedules and approve staff hours on ADP portal
  • Prepare and deliver annual performance evaluations and salary reviews for direct reports
  • Maintain cash supply for branch vault through the Federal Reserve
  • Greet visitors and customers in a courteous manner and with a welcoming smile
  • Establish solid customer relationships through identifying needs, providing creative and best solutions for customers, and using cross-sell and referral opportunities
  • Open new accounts, assist customers with changes and updates to existing accounts
  • Handle unique customer transactions and resolve more difficult customer inquiries
  • Partner with First Western's marketing department to plan and execute outreach events, giveaways, and career fair participation to engage NDSU students and strengthen the bank's brand presence on campus

Universal Banking Supervisor

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in accounting, Business, Finance or related field preferred; or equivalent work experience
  • Two years of experience in financial services or other retail type industry involving client interaction required
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices

  • Technology - skilled in Microsoft Office (Publisher, Power Point, Word, Excel, Outlook), and social media platforms.
