Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A cardiovascular surgical technologist position is available for a 13-week contract assignment in southeastern South Dakota, starting immediately. This role focuses on supporting complex cardiac and endovascular procedures within a highly specialized operating environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Scrub and assist during cardiovascular surgeries including heart and endovascular cases
- Utilize specialized surgical equipment and technology, with training provided as needed
- Float to Main Operating Rooms when surgical volume fluctuates, supporting up to 35 operating rooms across CV and main OR units
- Badge in and out for facility documentation compliance
- Adhere to team-specific orientation and ongoing training with support from senior technologists
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a cardiovascular surgical technologist highly preferred
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CRT or ARRT) is preferred but not mandatory based on experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications recommended
- Ability to work flexible hours with some call availability required
- Candidates must not have worked for the facility within the past 6 months to be considered
