Position: SAP SCM Consultant – EWM (Extended Warehouse Management)

Role Overview:

As an SAP EWM Functional Consultant, you will leverage your hands-on experience in SAP S/4

HANA Extended Warehouse Management to design, configure, and support efficient warehouse and logistics execution processes. You will collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions across inbound, outbound, and internal warehouse operations in both on-premise and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Configuration & Support: Configure and support EWM processes including inbound, outbound, put away, picking, replenishment, cross-docking, and physical inventory.

Warehouse Design: Define and optimize warehouse structures such as storage types, bins, activity areas, resources, work centres, and queues.

Integration Enablement: Ensure seamless integration with MM, SD, PP, QM, TM, and FI/CO modules.

Technical Setup: Configure RFC connections and ERP-EWM integration settings.

RF Framework: Set up RF devices and RF Framework for mobile warehouse operations.

Advanced Capabilities: Implement Batch Management, Handling Unit Management, Wave Management, Slotting & Rearrangement, and RF Framework.

Documentation & Training: Prepare functional specifications, process documents, training materials, and cutover strategies.

Testing & Validation: Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Go-Live & Support: Provide go-live support and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process gaps and implementing best practices.

Innovation Tracking: Stay updated with SAP S/4

HANA innovations, Fiori apps, and EWM roadmap.

Required

Qualifications & Skills:

Experience: 3–5 years of experience in SAP WM/EWM with at least 1–2 full-cycle EWM implementation and support projects.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Information Technology, or a related field.

Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of warehouse management processes and SAP EWM configuration.

Platform Knowledge:

Experience with SAP S/4

HANA EWM On-Premise and Cloud (Public/Private).

Integration Knowledge: Good understanding of integration points with MM, SD, PP, QM, and TM.

Cutover & Master Data: Hands-on experience with EWM master data and cutover activities.

Analytical

Skills:

Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Communication

Skills:

Excellent communication and collaboration skills with business users and IT teams.
