Elementary Music Teacher

Harrison School District is accepting applications for an Elementary Music Teacher position for the  school year. The position will be a full time (1.0 FTE) K-4 teaching position.

Applicants must possess appropriate Arkansas DESE certification. Previous experience is preferred, but not required.

Harrison School District is seeking an individual who will:

• teach music education to pupils in grades K-4
• help pupils grow in their enjoyment, appreciation, and performance of music through a variety of planned music experiences which include singing, moving to music, playing of instruments and listening to music
• create a class environment conducive to learning and personal growth
• establish effective rapport with pupils
• formulate positive relationships with parents, students, and other staff members
• demonstrate effective communication within the school community
