Position Overview

Supports the assessment process for internal controls over financial reporting of Fed Ex Freight as required by Sarbanes-Oxley section 404 (SOX 404).

• Supports the assessment process for internal controls over financial reporting as required by Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 (SOX 404).
• Perform detailed SOX compliance audits and assessments.
• Analyze financial data for SOX compliance risks.
• Collaborate with departments to implement corrective actions.
• Assist in preparing reports for management and regulators.
• Support training initiatives.
• Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Master's degree and/or CPA preferred.
• Four (4) years' experience in public accounting, or internal controls/accounting at a public company.
• Strong internal controls, financial reporting, and general accounting.
• Strong organizational, project leadership, and communications skills.

• Hours may vary due to operational need.

This position will be domiciled at a Fed Ex Freight location in Memphis, TN or Harrison, AR. You will be required to work at a Fed Ex Freight location several times per week.
