Position Overview
Supports the assessment process for internal controls over financial reporting of Fed Ex Freight as required by Sarbanes-Oxley section 404 (SOX 404).
EssentialJob Duties / Responsibilities
- Supports the assessment process for internal controls over financial reporting as required by Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 (SOX 404).
- Perform detailed SOX compliance audits and assessments.
- Analyze financial data for SOX compliance risks.
- Collaborate with departments to implement corrective actions.
- Assist in preparing reports for management and regulators.
- Support training initiatives.
- Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Master's degree and/or CPA preferred.
- Four (4) years' experience in public accounting, or internal controls/accounting at a public company.
- Strong internal controls, financial reporting, and general accounting.
- Strong organizational, project leadership, and communications skills.
- Hours may vary due to operational need.
This position will be domiciled at a Fed Ex Freight location in Memphis, TN or Harrison, AR. You will be required to work at a Fed Ex Freight location several times per week.
