Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Rehab Services

Give patients back their voice—and their confidence. As an SLP at NARMC, you’ll assess and treat speech, language, cognition, voice, fluency, and swallowing, while coaching families and tracking real-world progress. We practice evidence-based care with a lot of heart.

Assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders; complete timely documentation; educate patients/families; and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team across inpatient and outpatient settings.

• Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans for speech, language, voice, fluency, cognitive-communication, and dysphagia.
• Perform and interpret Modified Barium Swallow studies; plan therapy based on results.
• Educate patients/families; provide staff in-services on communication/swallow issues; track outcomes/quality data.
• Document charges and clinical progress accurately; participate in performance improvement.

Required

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology;
  Arkansas SLP license;
  Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP); BLS.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Preferred

• Experience with adult neuro, pediatrics, or acute care; comfort with EHR/EMR.
